The Ulfhednar Knife, crafted in the style of the Anglo-Saxon scramasax or seax, channels the fierce spirit of 9th–10th century Norse warriors. Each knife is entirely handmade using top-quality materials and skilled artisanal techniques, honoring ancient traditions and Norse mythology.
More than a tool, this collectible masterpiece comes with an intricately carved wooden stand shaped like a wolf, enhancing its mystique and symbolic power.
Craftsmanship features include:
The name Ulfhednar—meaning “wolf-head”—refers to the Norse warriors who invoked the spirit of the wolf, entering trance-like fury akin to the Berserkers who embodied bears. Ulfhednars drew strength and wisdom from Fenrir, the Great Wolf, which is reflected in the runes and imagery carved onto the blade.
The handle is crafted from ancient bog oak, enriched with reindeer antler inlays, brass detailing, and genuine amber stone for a timeless, impressive appearance. The blade is forged from CPM-S125V super crucible steel, prized for its exceptional strength and durability—making this Ulfhednar knife both a powerful symbol and a functional work of art.
