Emerging in 15th century Spain, the rapier rose to prominence in 16th and 17th century Europe. This single-handed sword, reminiscent of the Roman gladius, facilitated the use of a secondary weapon, be it a dagger or pistol, in the off-hand.

Beyond its battlefield importance, the rapier became a symbol of fashion among Europe's elite. 

Primarily a thrusting instrument, our rapier boasts versatility with its ability to cut and slash. Unlike some counterparts, All blades Forged here at Raven Loft Forge are sharpened along its entire length, ensuring maximum effectiveness. One of the rapier's defining characteristics is its intricate hilt—meticulously designed to safeguard the wielder's hand.

The Hilt of this Beautiful piece of History is made from CPM S30V. CPM S30V is a Premium known as a Crucible Steel. It is a very corrosion resistant . CPM S30V has a great balance of toughness, hardness, an edge retention. 

The Blade is made with a HADA Technique. HADA is taking several pieces of the same or similar types of carbon steels and forge welding them together with the grain of the blade running down the blade like the grain on a plank of wood. Made From CPM S30V, 154CM, and CPM M4.

Overall Length: 47 inches.
